Things to consider when looking for a removalist – How do they charge and what does the price include?
Ask about hidden fees and charges. You may get an hourly rate that seems low but when you add GST, stair charges, depot charges, fuel charges and insurance on top, that cheap rate can sky rocket. Also ask about whether they charge in hourly or half hourly increments. You may find a company without a callout fee but they will charge in hourly increments, meaning if the boys do 20 minutes worth of work and you get charged for the full hour so you end up paying a callout fee in a different. With Good Move Removals we charge an all-inclusive flat hourly rate for 2 men and a truck, billed in half an hour increments, with a one off callout fee added to the total cost of your bill. The easier it is to understand the charges, the easier it will be to stay within your budget and we’re all about moving you as cost effectively as possible.
Things to consider when looking for a removalist – Do your research!
The removals industry has a bad reputation. They can offer you the world then deliver your furniture in a few extra pieces than you anticipated. Make sure the company you’re considering is registered with an ABN (Australia Business Number), is registered in a few different places online (such as directories, comparison websites, if you google their name you’ll see where they stand), has a great presence on social media, has a website, and has a good solid list of great reviews from happy clients. At Good Move Removals we have worked so very hard to offer the best service at the best price to our very important clients and really appreciate the fantastic reviews and feedback they have left us, so I think we’re achieving what we set out to achieve, which is affordable moving without substituting quality. Thanks to all our awesome clients and hardworking boys for making this happen for us.
